Hunger in Our Community
Meeting Basic Needs
Matthew 25:35
|
It can be very easy to point out problems in a community. We often get caught up complaining about the problem rather than doing something about it. So, this year in our computer class, we were challenged to choose a world problem that we could help by targeting our own community in Northern Michigan. We decided to target basic needs - some people in our community do not have access to simple needs such as food, nice clothing, and places to live. We know we can't fix everything for everyone, so we decided to focus our efforts towards hunger.
We hope what we do will inspire you to find something you are passionate about, and to make a difference in your community. |
